The vintage car race at Schenley Park is not the only race happening as part of the Pittsburgh vintage Grand Prix festivities. There’s also the Historics at Pitt Race continuing today at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Wampum, PA. Fierce competition between the legends of the ’60s and early ’70s, including Mustangs, Corvettes, Jaguars, BMWs, Porsches and Alfa Romeos is the highlight. A special feature this year is the 60th GT40 Reunion. “The legendary GT40 turns 60 this year, and a grand reunion is planned in conjunction with the PVGP Historics. It seems not long ago that it was the first American car to win the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.” 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 201 Penndale Rd.
