1) It’s the Savoy Jazz Anniversary at the Savoy Restaurant, with host band, the Roger Humphries Trio. Special guest artists this week are world-renown jazz trumpet player Sean Jones and radio personality Bob Studebaker. 6-10 p.m. 2623 Penn Ave., Strip District.
2) A Face in the Crowd, a 1957 film directed by Elia Kazan, starring Andy Griffith and Patricia Neal, screens at the Hollywood Theater. The film chronicles the rapid rise to fame of a folksy, charismatic wanderer/hobo who masks his real, self-serving personality. 7 p.m. 1449 Potomac Ave., Dormont.
3) Folk/punk (interesting combination, does it abbreviate to folunk?) musician Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls put on a show at Mr. Smalls Funhouse. Special guests are Larry and his Flask, Jenny Owen Youngs. 7:30 p.m. 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.
4) Jergel’s Rhythm Grille helps us get out the Monday blues with blues singer Shari Richards and Band. 8 p.m. No cover. 103 Slade Lane, Warrendale.
