1) Country artist Jerrod Niemann rolls into the Pepsi Cola Roadhouse tonight. He is a Kansas born singer/songwriter who has co-written songs with Garth Brooks. Special guest is Sean Patrick McGraw. Doors open at 6 p.m. 565 Pennsylvania 18, Burgettstown.
2) Local disco/funk band “Dancing Queen” grooves out at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. 9 p.m. 103 Slade Lane, Warrendale.
3) Take a break from the “hustle and bustle” of holiday shopping and traffic by hitting Sonoma Grille for happy hour. Specials include tapas and specialty cocktails for only $5, glasses of wine, just $4. Sonoma Grille also offers tasting pours (3 oz.) and wine flights. Happy hour is from 5-7 p.m. 947 Penn Ave., Downtown.
4) The Jazz Nutcraker continues its run at Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse, ending Sunday. This is a sassy send-up of the holiday classic. Original concept and choreography by Doug Bentz, live music by the Benny Benack Band. 8 p.m. Rockwell Theater, The Pittsburgh Playhouse. 222 Craft Ave., Oakland.
