Balcony Big Band in Action at Jergel’s; Jazz Monday at Savoy with Tony Campbell’s Jazz Surgery with Fred Pugh (Mon., 6/1/15)

1) The Balcony Big Band is hitting only high notes in a Monday night performance at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. The 18 member group makes a big, beautiful sound. 7 p.m. No cover. 285 Northgate Dr., Warrendale.

2) Savoy Restaurant’s Savoy Jazz Mondays continues tonight with Tony Campbell’s Jazz Surgery featuring vocalist Fred Pugh. Chill out with some great jazz on Monday evenings. 6 – 10 p.m. No cover. 2623 Penn Ave., Strip District.

3) Check out new and established talent at one of the city’s best open stage nights, Club Cafe’s AcoustiCafe. Black Little Birds with special guests Emily Rodgers and Adam Torres (TX)  are tonight’s host of this supportive and friendly event. No cover. 7 p.m. 56 – 58 S. 12th St., South Side.
