Black Music Festival Opens with Ronnie Laws and Debra Laws (Thurs., 7/14/22)

Pittsburgh’s 4th Annual Black Music Festival kicks off today at Point State Park and Market Square stages. The festival features certain days for certain musical genres. Today is jazz day and tomorrow is gospel day. Saturday is Classic Hip Hop and R&B Day and the festival closes out on Sunday is Funk, Blues and Soul Day. Today’s main headliners are Ronnie Laws and his band (8:30 p.m.), his sister Debra Laws (8 p.m.), opens.
