1) Pop rockers Hot Chelle Rae are touring in support of their new album Whatever, and will play a show tonight at Stage AE.  Hot Chelle Rae recently played a concert on the plaza as part of NBC’s Today Show. Opening artists are Neon Hitch and New Hollow. Doors open 7 p.m., North Shore.

2) First Niagara Pavilion hosts country singer Jason Aldean, with special guest Luke Bryan.  Aldean is from Macon, Georgia and is married to his high school sweetheart. He is touring in advance of the upcoming  release of his 5th album, Night Train. Aldean will be playing the just released single “Take a Little Ride” 7:30 p.m., Burgettstown.

3) The Westmoreland County Fair starts today with farm exhibits, games, rides, food, vehicle races. Today’s featured event is the Farmer’s Olympics replete with Hay Hauling, Skip Loader Rodeo, Team Cow Milking and Tractor Driving competitions. No county fair is authentic without a demolition derby and the Westmoreland County Fair has one next week. Fair opens 9 a.m., Farmers Olympics start at 8 p.m. Westmoreland County Fairgrounds, Pleasant Unity, PA.

4) Broadway at the Overlook is happening at the West End/Elliott Overlook again tonight thanks to Pittsburgh Citiparks and Pittsburgh Musical Theater. Picnicking and relaxation is encouraged from 6-7:30 p.m. Performance starts 7:30 p.m. Free.

5) Rock singer-songwriter Mike Doughty takes the stage at the South Park Amphitheater as part of the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series. 7:30 p.m. Free.
