1) “Buckin B Bullriding” competition is happenin’ at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino. 7:30 p.m., Washington, PA

2) “Summer Sounds” concert series continues tonight in Greensburg with “Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra” playing Mardi Gras Gospel music. That sounds like a great combination of two fine American musical traditions.  Concert starts at 7 p.m. in St. Clair Park, Downtown Greensburg.

3) “Salsa Fridays” is the featured event at the Late Night Cabaret by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Salsa dance lessons from 10-10:30 p.m. than music and dancing by DJ Paul Mitchell.  Cabaret at Theater Square, Downtown Cultural District.

4) “Enter the Haggis”,  a Toronto based roots rock band, plays an early show at Club Cafe, South Side, 6:45 p.m.. Special guuest is “The Weathered Road.”

5) Penn Brewery in Troy Hill has Joel Lindsey singing and playing guitar tonight, 7-10 p.m.
