1) Joe Negri, who played “Handyman Negri” on “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood” TV show,  is a fantastic jazz guitar player, known as one of the finest guitarists in the nation, is performing with friends Tony DePaolis (bass), Thomas Wendt (drums) and Maureen Budway (vocalist) at the first cafe-style show at Slippery Rock University (SRU).   “Joe Negri and Friends in Concert” will initiate the new cafe as part of SRU’s “Performing Arts Series.”  University Union Multi-Purpose room, 7:30 p.m. Slippery Rock.

2) NOLA on the square hosts Charles Wallace and his jazz quintet, with Tim Tucker on keyboards. 8 p.m. No Cover. 24 Market Square, Downtown.

3) Earl Klugh, internationally known jazz guitar master, is in town at the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild tonight. 7 & 9:30 p.m. 1815 Metropolitan Street, Manchester.

4) Pittsburgh Lesbian & Gay Film Society’s “Reel Q Pittsburgh LGBT Film Festival” starts tonight with 2012 Canadian film “Cloudburst.” The film stars actresses Olympia Dukakis and Brenda Fricker as an aging lesbian couple encountering life’s ups and downs, with love and humor.  Festival runs through October 21st. 7:30 p.m. Harris Theater, Downtown Cultural District.
