1) Highmark Holiday Pops is a grand event featuring the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Mendelsshon Choir and many talented guest artists. Enjoy popular Christmas carols and holiday music including: “Sleigh Ride,” “White Christmas,” and selections from The Nutcracker. Daniel Meyer conducts for the festive celebration, there’s even a visit by a jolly man in red from the North Pole. 2) The Pittsburgh CLO presents A Musical Christmas Carol, which includes all of our favorite holiday characters: Ebeneezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim. The CLO stages the production with dazzling special effects, great singing and acting and a heaping helping of holiday charm. 3) The Steelers play their most important game of the season so far, against the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field at 1 p.m. You could create a fun combination; watching the Steeler’s and skiing at Hidden Valley Resort..
