1) KC and the Sunshine Band (from Miami, Florida) are bringing their classic dance grooves including: “That’s The Way I Like It,”  “Get Down Tonight,” “I’m You’re Boogie Man,”  “Give It Up” to the stage of  Greensburg’s Palace Theatre . 7:30 p.m. 21 W. Otterman St.

2) Gilberto Gil, a multi-Grammy award winning Brazilian musician and informal diplomat, brings his modern Brazilian music to the Byham Theater tonight at 7:30 p.m. 101 Sixth St., Downtown Cultural District.

3) Painters often give us a look at the contemporary culture of their times. American artist Walter Gay’s paintings, now on display at the Frick Art & Historical Center through January 6th, give us a glimpse of the interior rooms and furnishings of opulent residences of the Gilded Age (late 19th, early 20th century). Impressions of Interiors: Gilded Age Paintings by Walter Gay features paintings of society rooms of American and European residences with silk wall coverings, ornate paneling, 18th century French furniture, tapestries and sculptures of legendary American and European residences. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 7227 Reynolds St., Point Breeze.

4) Bayside, a rock group named after their neighborhood in Queens, New York rolls into town for a show at Altar Bar. Also on the bill are The Composure and Trophies. 7:30 p.m. 1620 Penn Avenue, Strip District.
