1) Alternative Rockers 3 Doors Down play an indoor show at Stage AE. 3 Doors Down is known for hits “Kryptonite” and “Let Me be Myself.” There will be a special introduction of the band by actor/musician/producer Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg, was the lead actor in the movie The Fighter; executive producer of Entourage,  Boardwalk Empire  and headed the group “Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch” in the early Nineties. His performance drink, “MARKED,” is the sponsor of the concert. Doors open at 8 p.m.

2) “Cruel To Be Kind” is musician and producer Nick Lowe’s biggest hit and was a staple of the early MTV years. He has been touring with Wilco and is playing his own gig at Mr. Smalls Funhouse tonight. Special guest is Eleni Mandell, 8 p.m. 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.

3) Free admission to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Oakland today from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of the Allegheny County RADical Days. RADical Days are when groups and institutions receive Regional Asset District (RAD)funds given free or for reduced admission to their attractions (some restrictions may apply to RADical events). 4) Attention Pirate players and managers: If you’re doing the best that you can, thank you very much. If you’re not, please try harder so you can make the Wild Card playoffs. Thank you. The Pirates take on the Milwaukee Brewers again today in a 4:05 p.m. game. PNC Park, North Shore.
