1) My Morning Jacket  plays an outdoor concert tonight at Stage AE. They put together a nice combination of vocals, guitars, keyboards and drums that reach its highest peak in their song Lay Low. Band of Horses is the opening act. Gates open 6 p.m., North Shore.

2) Neil Young Journeys is a new concert/movie collaboration between rocker Neil Young and director, Jonathan Demme. The film follows Young back to the town in southern Ontario, Omemee, where he spent the formative years of his youth. The film also follows him to the city of his birth, Toronto, where he gives a concert at the historic Massey Hall.  7:30 p.m. Harris Theatre, 809 Liberty Avenue, Downtown.

3) Poogie Bell is the featured performer for Trust/ Arts BNY Mellon JazzLive Tuesdays. Bell is a friendly and talented jazz drummer who has even toured the world with jazz great Marcus Miller. Catch him at Agnes Katz Plaza. 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Corner of Penn Avenue & 7th Street, Downtown. Free.

4) Whiskey Outlaws are on the loose at the Westmoreland County Fair and can be seen taking the stage to play some tunes at 7 p.m. Pleasant Unity Township. Free admission!

5) If you see little blue people singing and dancing at the West End/Elliott Overlook, don’t be alarmed.  It’s only Pittsburgh Citiparks screening the movie The Smurfs (PG). Dusk, free.
