2. The next segment of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust BNY Mellon JazzLive series takes place tonight at the Agnes Katz Plaza. Catch the vocals of Maureen Budway & Friends. 5 p.m. Free. Penn Ave. and 7th Street, Downtown.

3. The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh continues its Cook It! program with Chef Angelo Galioto as he shows how to prepare easy and quick seasonal meals using locally available ingredients.  Each demonstration recipe is featured in the Big Red Room Cafe at the Museum. Today’s culinary activities involve making a macaroni-cheddar salad and Waldorf salad. 12:15 p.m. North Side.

4. Watch the biography of Jimmy Hoffa, one of the most influential labor leaders of the 20th century, at the Downtown Carnegie Library.  Learn more about the life of Jimmy Hoffa, including his mysterious disappearance. The screening starts at 12:15 p.m., Free. 612 Smithfield Street.

5. Experimental rock group Yeasayer, featuring Daedelus, performs tonight at Mr. Smalls Funhouse on 400 Lincoln Ave. in Millvale, PA.  Show 8:00 p.m.
