1) Here’s a compelling pick if you’re a space aficionado like myself, Hubble,  an IMAX film chronicling the launch, repair and mission of the Hubble space telescope. The film also show’s spacewalking astronauts and “mind blowing” pictures of distant galaxies and constellations. 11:15 a.m. & 3:15 p.m. Rangos Omnimax theater. Carnegie Science Center, North Shore.

2) Check out the Bluegrass Jam at the Park House. The Shelf Life String Band hosts the weekly event. Relax and enjoy the music or join the jam, either way Yuengling pints are only $2 from 9 p.m. to midnight. Jam starts at 9 p.m. 403 E. Ohio St., North Side.

3) Pittsburgh rockers Mercury take the stage at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille tonight. 8 p.m. No cover. 8 p.m. Slade Lane, Warrendale.
