Dave Matthews Band Set to Jam at Niagara (CP’s Fri. 5/31/13)

1) The Dave Matthews Band jams out First Niagara Pavilion tonight . DMB had success with hits “Crash Into Me,”  “Ants Marching” and “The Space Between.”  Opening artist is JD McPherson. 7 p.m. 665 Rt. 18, Burgettstown.

2) Altar Bar in the strip is hosting the Jenna Jameson’s Birthday Bash! Jenna Jameson is an American entrepreneur and former adult film mega-star. Before retiring from the adult movie business in 2008 she acted in 161 films and directed four.  Jameson was a Penthouse Magazine Pet in 2004. She chose her last name because it sounded good with her first name and she sometimes had a drink of the Irish whiskey of the same name. Jameson once worked at Disneyland but took a different career path than former Disney employees Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. In addition to the Jenna Jameson appearance there’s also music on the bill with Chip DiMonick, Evil Empire (Rage Against The Machine Tribute) and Through These Walls. 1620 Penn Ave., Strip District.

3) Noted Pittsburgh Punk rockers, Anti-Flag celebrate their 20th anniversary with concert sets that feature songs from each of their ten albums. Although Anti-Flag plays internationally they have a special fondness for their home town and Mr. Smalls Funhouse. They will be performing tonight as the last of a two night series. Special guests are LemuriaCode Orange Kids and Worship This!  400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.

4) Two baseball teams, two Ohio river towns, it could only mean the Pittsburgh Pirates vs. the Cincinnati Reds.  It’s also a Free T-shirt Friday at PNC Park with all fans receiving a shirt. 7:05 p.m. North Shore.
