1) Christopher Titus is bringing new material to a show titled Angry Pursuit of Happiness at the Pittsburgh Improv for a three-day run. Some may remember Titus from his Fox TV show “Titus,” which ran from 2000-02. Titus sums up his disappointment with the present on his website: “2014! Really? I remember being a kid and looking forward to flying cars and robot butlers, Terminators coming back from the future and dating a cyborg who never said “No.” But here we are, war is still legal and you can get guns at the same place you can buy pork rinds and 4 dollar American flag shirts made in China.” Catch some laughs and cultural insights at the same time. 8 and 10:30 p.m., runs through Sunday. 166 E. Bridge St. The Waterfront, Homestead.
