Ra Ra Riot and WWE Raw Are Both In Town Tonight (CP’s Mon. 10/7/13)

1) Indie rock band Ra Ra Riot was formed by students at Syracuse University seven years ago and are known for their high energy performances. Ra Ra Riot has gained a loyal following with tunes like “Can You tell” and “Dance With Me.”  Special guest is Cayucas. 8 p.m. Mr. Smalls Funhouse, 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.

2) Bassnector ( Lorin Ashton), from Santa Cruz, California  is in concert at Stage AE tonight. Innovative electronica music producer and DJ, Bassnector performances are known for good beats and colorful light shows. Opening artists are Koan Sound and Andreilien.  Doors open 7 p.m. 400 North Shore Dr., North Shore.

3) WWE Raw, the second greatest show on earth, will get the adrenaline flowing in a wrestling competition tonight at Consol Energy Center. There is a “Double Massive Main Event” with Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton and a two-on-one event with CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel & Paul Heyman is  Wrestlers doing battle in the ring  could also  include, from the Raw roster, The Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, The Shield, and Dolph Ziggler. 7:30 p.m. 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown.

4) Savoy Restaurant’s Savoy Jazz Mondays continues tonight with Tim Stevens/Leonard Johnson Project.  6 – 10 p.m. No cover. 2623 Penn Ave., Strip District.
