Good Eats at Grazie; Savoy Serves Jazz (CPs Mon. 6/2/14)

1) There’s a great Italian restaurant in Wexford, tucked into the same building that houses the prestigious Oxford Athletic Club and several other businesses. Grazie Restaurant and Event Center, a comfortable family style restaurant with high-quality food, full bar, and an outdoor patio overlooking the Oxford Athletic Club’s pool, is open to the general public. The menu offers rich, traditional Italian fare as well as healthier options. Menu categories are appetizers, salads, specialty pizzas, hoagies, wraps, gourmet burgers, sandwiches, pastas, and seafood. Highlights include Stuffed Banana Peppers, Fried Zucchini, Greek and Margherita Pizzas, Grilled Turkey Burger, Nunna’s MeatballsMediterranean Salmon Salad, Pappardelle Alfredo, Sausage Broccolini Ravioli, Pasta a la Grazie, Tuscan Chicken, and Crab Cakes. Pasta and specialty menu items are available after 4 p.m. There are also several nice selections under the Kids’ menu, and the servers are friendly and attentive. Grazie is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Tonight there’s live entertainment from Bruce Katz beginning at 8:30 p.m. 100 Village Club Dr., Wexford.

2) Savoy restaurant’s Savoy Jazz Mondays continues tonight with the Roger Humphries Trio featuring vocalist Shawnee Lake. 6 – 10 p.m. No cover. 2623 Penn Ave., Strip District.

3) Check out new and established talent at one of the city’s best open stage nights, Club Cafe’s AcoustiCafeAndrew Lasswell is the host of this supportive and friendly event. No cover. 7 p.m. 56 – 58 S. 12th St., South Side.

4) It’s Global Mondays at Cappy’s Cafe in Shadyside with imported bottled beers for only $3. While there, team up an import with a bowl of their scrumptious chili. 5431 Walnut St.
