AE Gets Jeezy Tonight; Country Round-up With Dallas Marks at Jergel’s (CPs Tues., 11/4/14)

1) Jeezy (aka Young Jeezy) is hitting the ‘Burgh tonight for a pumped-up, hard core rap party at Stage AE as part of his Seen It All tour. Leader of the Southern hip hop group United Streets Dopeboyz of America (USDA) and a former member of Boyz n da Hood and Black Mafia Family (BMF), Jeezy grew up in Columbia, S.C., and now lives in Atlanta. His first major label solo release, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, was out in ’05, and the track “Soul Survivor,” featuring Akon, became a Top 10 hit. Doors open at 8 p.m. 400 North Shore Dr., North Shore.

2) Dallas Marks is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitar player for The Dallas Marks Band. Playing a mix of top 40 country and Southern rock, the band will surely get those cowboy boots tapping at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. 8 p.m. No cover. 285 Northgate Dr., Warrendale.

3) Horns, which opened Friday, features Daniel Radcliffe, best known for portraying Harry Potter. He wakes up one morning—after his girlfriend has died under mysterious circumstances—to suddenly find two horns on his head. The film is an adaptation of the horror/fantasy novel of the same name by Joe Hill (son of Stephen King). Guess what, Hermione: I don’t think we’re in Hogwarts anymore.
