“So You Think You Can Dance” at Byham; Rex Hosts Adrian Belew Power Trio (CPs Wed., 10/29/14)

1) Whether you think you can or can’t dance, tonight’s a great opportunity to see some amazing dancers from the hit FOX TV show “So You Think You Can Dance.” The Season 11 tour will feature the top 10 finalists from this past season: Bridget Whitman, Casey Askew, Emilio Dosal, Jacque LeWarne, Jessica Richens, Ricky Ubeda, Rudy Abreu, Tanisha Belnap, Valerie Rockey and Zack Everhart. “So You Think You Can Dance” is the winner of 11 prime-time Emmy awards. 7:30 p.m. Byham Theater, 101 6th St., Cultural District.

2) Versatile singer/songwriter/producer and guitar virtuoso Adrian Belew and his Power Trio are in concert at 8 p.m. tonight at Rex Theater. Belew rose to fame as the guitarist and front man for the prog-rock group King Crimson. Other  great gigs for him were as a touring guitarist for David Bowie, Frank Zappa, and Nine Inch Nails. Catch this legend in action  on the South Side. Opening the show is Saul Zonana.1602 E. Carson St.

3) Pop and hip-hop singer Aaron Carter plays Hard Rock Cafe tonight. He rose to fame in the late 90s and early 00s as a young performer who appealed to teens and pre-teens. Special guests are Spencer Saylor and  Jordan York. 8 p.m. 230 W. Station Square Dr., Station Square.
