1) Instead of going to a concert and having a beer and a pretzel, how about if you went to the show and exercised? Well, that’s basically the concept behind the first ever Zumba Nightclub Series featuring rapper/DJ Lil Jon and celebrity Zumba fitness instructor Gina Grant. Lil John plays the jams as Grant leads the crowd in high energy dance routines. Sounds cool, but what’s next….doing push ups and squats in between courses at a restaurant? 2) Little Gem, the polished new production from City Theatre, continues its run. The play, written by Elaine Murphy and directed by Kimberly Senior, chronicles the lives of three generations of women, in the same Irish family, as they search for meaning and pleasure during one incredible year.
