The Mavericks Play Library (CP’s Wed. 4/17/13)

1) Original member and successful solo artist, Raul Malo, has rejoined alt-country band The Mavericks.  Raul Malo and the Mavericks’ songs  have received heavy rotation on independent contemporary radio stations.  Together they play a 7:30 p.m. concert tonight at Carnegie Library Music Hall. 510 E. 10th St., Munhall.

2) There’s a great spring sports doubleheader today. First off, the Canadiens are in town to battle our Pens at Consol Energy Center. 7 p.m. 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown.

3) In the second part of the spring sports doubleheader the Pirates take on the  St. Louis Cardinals in a 7:05 p.m. game at PNC Park. North Shore.

4)  Jergel’s Rhythm Grille will be heating up tonight with rhythm & blues, roots/soul rock  from the Igniters. 8 p.m. No cover. 103 Slade Ln.., Warrendale.
