First Day of Wonder Works Festival at Hartwood Acres; This is Pittsburgh Rock Concert at Aspinwall River Trail Park (Sat., 5/27/23)

1) Last year was the inaugural music festival at Hartwood Acres—Maple House Arts + Music Festival. This year the two-day live music event is Wonder Works Music & Arts Festival Hartwood. Occurring on Memorial Day weekend, this years highlights include Hozsier, The Head and the Heart, Coin, X Ambassadors, and Michigander on Saturday. Sunday features Jason Mraz and His Superband, Mt. Joy, The Revivalists, and The Vindys. Numerous other bands also play each day. The event is produced by Elevation Festivals who run other music festivals in the Midwest including in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. Hartwood Acres. 200 Hartwood Acres, Hampton and Indiana Townships.

2) Some of the best rock bands in the region are converging on the Allegheny River Trail Park in Aspinwall today for the This is Pittsburgh Rock concert. The lineup includes Bill Deasy with special guests, Jim Donovan & Sun King Warriors, and Bill Toms and Hard Rain with the Soulville Horns. Top rock in a beautiful setting. The Famer X Baker Aspinwall Cafe will be selling food and Trace Brewing will be offering their brews. Family and pet friendly event. 5 p.m. Free ($15 voluntary tickets are available with the proceeds going to the park). 285 River Ave.
