Pittsburgh International Auto Show at David Lawrence Convention Center; Chatham Baroque Features Apollo’s Fire (Sun., 2/18/24)

1) The Pittsburgh International Auto Show is going on at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Whether you’re looking for a hot rod, family sedan, or green machine, this is an opportunity to try your “fave” on for size. Experience vehicles from all the major auto companies. Additionally enjoy classic, custom, and concept car displays. There will also be music and local celebrities. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. today. Continues through tomorrow. 1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd., Downtown.

2) Today Chatham Baroque hosts Grammy-award winning Baroque group, Apollo’s Fire, for their “Violin Fantasy” performance. The event, an album release concert, will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church. “Violin Fantasy” celebrates the new CD album Apollo’s Fire will be releasing this week. The CD will contain a similar style of stylus phantasticus Baroque music. 4 p.m. 315 Shady Ave., Shadyside.
