Tasty Deals During Pittsburgh Restaurant Week; Wild vs. Pens (CPs 1/13/15)

1) It’s Pittsburgh Restaurant Week! Why is this important to you? More than 50 Pittsburgh restaurants are offering extra special deals through Jan. 18—either three-course fixed price meals or dining options totaling $20.15. To view participating restaurants and for more information, visit Pittsburghrestaurantweek.com. Let’s get out there and support our great local restaurants!

2) It’s Wild Penguins Night. I mean, it’s the Minnesota Wild hard checking the Pens in an attempt to scratch out a win. Puck drops at 7 p.m. Consol Energy Center, 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown.

3) Taken 3—Here’s a question: Does Liam Neeson ever sleep? Very little it seems, since he pops up every other month in a revenge movie. Remember how in the first Taken he rescued his daughter (“I will look for you. I will find you, and I will kill you.”) This time his wife has been murdered, and he’s being framed for her death! He’s got to find the killers while avoiding the law enforcement who’s trying to track him down. Can he do it? He’d better, because I’m sure it’ll only be a matter of months before he’ll be needed for another rescue franchise. Check Fandango for your local movie houses.
