‘Vacation’ Movies Reunion at Steel City Con; D.L. Hughley at Pgh. Improv (Fri., 4/8/22)

1) One of the country’s biggest comic cons is occurring this weekend at the Monroeville Convention Center. The Steel City Con features 750 vendor tables, an artist alley, celebrity guests, celebrity Q & A’s, panels, celebrity photo ops, and the Artist Charity Quick Sketch. And if that’s not enough you can also take part in the Steel City Con’s cosplay, trivia contest and costume contests. The Con will be burning bright with celebrities including a National Lampoon Vacation movies reunion with Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Christie Brinkley, Miriam Flynn, Jason Lively, Anthony Michael Hall, Dana Barron, and more. Also scheduled to appear are Christopher Lloyd, Christina Riici, Heather Thomas, and Robert Englund. Certain celebrities appear on certain days. See the schedule on the website. Go for one day or buy the three-day pass. 209 Mall Blvd., Monroeville. (R.H.)

He’s also a syndicated drive time radio show host of “The DL Hughley Show,” but still finds time to get out on the road and keep his stand-up routine fresh. 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. Performances through Sunday. Pittsburgh Improv, 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. Two shows tomorrow. All shows sold out. 166 E. Bridge St., The Waterfront, Homestead.
