1) The Moscow Ballet visits Morgantown, West Virginia with their production of the classic holiday tale, The Great Russian Nutcracker, in celebration of its 20th anniversary touring the U.S. and Canada. This enchanting production features high-quality Russian ballet, with towering silk-puppets, beautiful hand-made costumes and sets. 7:30 p.m., Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre at West Virginia University, 2261 Monongahela Boulevard.

2) The rising sister trio, The Joseph Sisters, are back by popular demand to perform more of their country songs tonight at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. 8 p.m., 103 Slade Lane, Warrendale.

3) Andys Wine Bar’s spotlight jazz artist tonight is vocalist Lisa Hindmarsh. 7:30 -10:30 p.m. No cover. 510 Market Street. Fairmont Hotel. Downtown.

4) The holidays are a great time to visit Phipps Conservatory.  This year’s Winter Flower Show adds a brand new, enchanting outdoor Winter Light Garden. The whole scene is dazzling, evergreens laden with tens of thousands of lights, almost 2000 holiday poinsettias and a wintergarden with meandering pathways full of glowing orbs, icicles and a brilliant fountain of light.  Don’t miss the 1893 World’s Fair-themed Garden Railroad. Through January 6th. 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. One Schenley Park, Oakland.
