Friday Fish Fries Offer Lenten Comfort Food (Fri., 3/20/20)

March Madness may not occur this year, but another tradition of the season is, in altered form. Local churches, civic organizations, and volunteer fire departments are not offering eat-in dining for their Friday fish fries, however you can still get fish sandwiches/dinners to go. Hard decisions remain—fried or baked; french fries, cole slaw, or mac and cheese. Many fish fry menus offer other selections including fried shrimp, seafood soups, haluski, and potato pancakes. So get out their and enjoy our local tradition and support your neighborhood organizations.
