Pittsburgh Symphony at Hartwood Acres; Pittsburgh Festival Opera Has ‘The Telephone’ (Sun., 7/3/22)

1) The world-renowned Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will dazzle the crowd tonight with an outdoor show at Hartwood Acres as part of the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series. This free concert will include orchestral and patriotic music. The PSO will be led by PSO Assistant Conductor Moon Doh. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy a night of classical music under the stars. 8:15 p.m. 4070 Middle Rd., Allison Park.

2) The company’s summer festival includes classic and new operas and film with both older and younger artists. This year’s lineup includes: Legends in the Limelight with Marianne Cornetti, The Telephone, Rapunzel, Legends in the Making, and a world premier of the film Lysistrata or the Nude Goddess.
